Really no words can describe how beautiful a late summer Sunday ride through the mountains around Munich can be...

...making cupcake penance that much easier to bear!
Only pity was...

...not having my DSLR with me! But these will have to do.

My mountain bike got a real taste of mountain biking and it really comes alive on the trails - wow!

Photos are gorgeous and your ride sounds wonderful. Small price to pay for cupcakes, I reckon.
We were in Munich this past week and took a run down to Neuschwanstein. That scenery is really wonderful and what I had been expecting when we moved to DE. Makes me realize how terribly homesick I am for mountains and how awesome the Alps really are.
Beautiful photos! I don't know if it's just me, but I swear the grass is greener in Germany than anywhere else I've been, it's so bright!
