Ready for year four of Oktoberfest silliness to begin once again!
I did a warm up run at the Rosenheim Herbstfest and last Sunday a group of us got all decked out and spent the evening at the Hacker-Pschorr overlooking the Wies'n. I loved having all the helpful Germans tell me I was too early by a week. Danke Ihnen!
I have three guests arriving tomorrow for the weekend - from England, Germany and Holland. My fiend S. from the UK was on the inaugural trip 4 years ago and has made it every year since. Now that is dedication! The other two are second time joiners who were last here in 2007.
The dirndls are ready for us girls and I will take the boys lederhosen shopping so they can feel authentic too.
The weather forecast looks spectacular for Saturday.
Bring on the beer and chicken (or in our case ox)!!

I know someone attending for the first time this year.. I don't think it will be quite the same experience, but if you see a blond tiny gal say hi... lol Ok so joking, cuz that's too many people..
