We're Open for Business

I got back from the US yesterday morning and while our slug restaurant (aka our flower garden) is closed for the season, M. surprised me with a bird feeder out on our back porch. I wanted one the last couple of years and now we finally have a sweet one. The birds are tentatively checking it out and I suspect in a few days we will start to have a good clientele. Now if I only knew what kind of birds there are here.

Aww, that's so cute! The birds will love it. We have mostly chickadees, finches and nuthatches up here. I'd assume you'd have the same. They all seem to like that mixed seed with the sunflower seeds in it.

I love it! We stopped ours because the birds were making too much of a mess of our balcony. We had stellar jays and little starlings. I'm sure you will get lots, but make sure you are ready to clean up the seed leftovers!
