Top 40

By and large, the summer hits in the US, UK and Germany are the same. Germany tends to have 4-5 songs at any time that are in German so those don't make it in the US & UK and there are some songs from the US that aren't released here or the timing is all different. For example the #1 and #3 hits in the US (I could not escape from these the month I was there) are Beautiful Girls - Sean Kingston and Delilah - The Plain White Ts. I have never heard Beautiful Girls here and only sporadically Delilah. It is definitely not a hit here. Umbrella - Rihanna on the other hand has had the US, UK and Germany running around all summer singing ehh ehh ehh ehh!

Here is one that has been bouncing around the Swiss and German charts though, a song in English, that I don't think has been played at all in the US. Catchy, yes?
