Photojournalism: Pune

It was an excellent weekend in Pune. I'm too tired to post much as these crazy Indians had me shop till I dropped, then kept me out most of the night, up early for sight-seeing, and stuffing me with Indian food at every chance they got.

Here are a few photos from the weekend:

The Drive to Pune

The Most Powerful Ganesh in Pune: The line was over two hours to make an offering to Ganesh, which (to answer Kirk's question) was not Peanuts but Coconuts and Flowers

Gateway to Shaniwarwada, the Remains of A Mansion built 1730-1732. The spikes on the door were to prevent forced using elephants to ram the doors open.
