A White Thanksgiving

Looking out the window this morning

I woke up this morning to that quiet stillness and unique diffuse lighting that can only mean one thing... snow!!

The first snowfall of the year for me! I have become less and less of a winter person the older I get but there is still nothing like waking up and seeing the world blanketed in white for that first time of the year.

And today is a perfect day for it. We have all the food we need here. The fireplace is on. The Thanksgiving day parade and football to watch. I'm soaking up this Thanksgiving of my last few weeks in the States. I just put the pumpkin pie in the oven. The Cava is chilling. My parents are here and my sister is on her way.

Happy Thanksgiving to All!!
