New Camera Test Drive

Given the generally cheaper price of electronics in the US, I decided to replace my broken camera with an upgrade. I wavered back and forth between Sony and Canon but in the end kept my loyalty and got the Canon Powershot SD850 IS. 8 MP, 4x optical zoom, 16X digital zoom.

A few shots from today...

Beautiful shots! Coincidentally, we bought a new Canon camera today, too! And I also blogged about it and posted a few pictures!

Amazing shot of the ?insect... and of the chipmunk, or is it a squirrel?
With digital cameras, we take so many pictures, most of them technically really good, the big problem is where to store them, and how to find them after they have been stored!

It is a chipmunk hiding in a rock - I was testing the zoom and was pretty far away there.

I had the same thought on the thousands of pictures though - I feel like I should put some effort into organizing, storing and even printing some before they are all lost forever.

how very cool! I love all of these posts. I almost opted for the 800IS, but then couldn't pass up a $200 plus discount on the Cannon G6. I've been playing with that all weekend...

Thanks for all of the great pics!
